Down to Earth
ColourPop Down to Earth Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($9.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a new, all-matte, neutral eyeshadow quad that leaned warmer, deeper, and richer overall. All four shades were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing with the biggest “con” being that the formula was lightly to moderately powdery, so using a lighter hand or tapping off excess would be ideal. They were more of a velvety-matte, which gave them a denser, more substantial feel.
Grounded
Grounded is a light-medium brown with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque, buildable color coverage with a soft, blendable consistency that was somewhat powdery. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. – $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

In Tune
In Tune is a rich, medium-dark red-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow was richly pigmented with a soft, lightly powdery consistency that was dense and substantial enough not to be prone to sheering out, though I’d recommend using a light hand when picking it up. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Naturist
Naturist is a deep brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, blendable, and more velvety, but it was lightly powdery. It had opaque color payoff that adhered evenly to bare skin and lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

The Senses
The Senses is a deep black with cooler undertones and a matte finish. It had rich pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly and blended out well on bare skin. The texture was soft, smooth, and more velvety with light powderiness, so I’d recommend using a lighter hand when picking up (plus, it was quite pigmented). It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
