[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I think Iíve made this phenomenal body exfoliator look a bit apologetic but trust me, itís good. Itís a mix of enzymatic and physical exfoliants but the physical element is very minimal Ė glycolic acid is doing the bulk of the work I think. I use several different body exfoliators (and mitts) because I have bumpy skin Ė mainly on my thighs now rather than arms so I like to think I have a good knowledge of whatís out there. This is hands down the best so far.
Verso is a Swedish brand Ė so far, I havenít really got along with their skin careÖ thereís nothing wrong with it, it just hasnít resonated, but I was blown away by the peel. AHA, PHA and BHA acids all sound punchy but the feel of it on the skin is very mild. Crucially, instructions are to leave it on your body for two to three minutes before rinsing off so that the acids actually have time to work at getting rid of dead skin. I didnít like hanging about the chilly bathroom starkers but if Iíd thought about it I could have turned the heating up a bit. I used SLMD Glycolic Acid Body Lotion afterwards (HERE) and the smooth feeling (and look) lasted for days. Itís expensive (and not on offer anywhere because itís so new) at £55 so unless you need your whole body smooth and slippery as a seal, itís perfect for tops of arms and legs as well as shins. The bottle is 150ml so personally, Iím sparing it for the bits that show. I used it on my chest actually, and while itís not somewhere I focus on exfoliating, could really see a difference in brightness Ė maybe because itís not a place I exfoliate very often, but nonetheless, the result was impressive.
