Prophecy

Kaleidos Prophecy Space Age Highlighter (Multichrome) ($36.00 for 0.10 oz.) has a translucent base chocked full of shimmer and sparkle that shifted from warmer pink to gold to green with an intense, metallic finish. This highlighter is not for the faint of heart, as it was quite bright and intense but also very prone to emphasizing my skin’s texture as a result. I found that it was more prone to caking up with foundation applied under it, so I’d take care when applying. In my experience, using a fan brush and doing gentle diffusing motions along the high points was the easiest way to work with the formula.

The texture was drier, somewhat crumbly, and there was some flyaway powder as I applied and blended it out that resulted in stray sparkles on my face from the get-go. It lasted decently for seven hours but had slight migration over time.
